Founded in 2015, HT Contracting was created with a simple goal — to deliver dependable civil construction and earthworks services that people can trust.

What started as a small local operation has grown into a respected earthworks and excavation company servicing residential, commercial, and civil construction projects across the region.

We understand the demands of Queenstown terrain and the importance of getting site preparation and excavation work done right the first time.

BUILT FOR QUEENSTOWN CONDITIONS

Working in Queenstown requires experience, planning, and the right machinery.

From rocky terrain to challenging site access, we bring the practical knowledge needed to complete earthworks and civil construction projects efficiently and safely.

Our excavator fleet and skilled operators allow us to handle everything from small residential site scrapes to large-scale civil construction works.

Hamish is a Queenstown local (born and raised) and was brought up in the contracting industry. Hamish brings a broad knowledge of the area and a well established network of contractors.

Prior to HT Contracting, Hamish worked with the Perth Civil drainage team, multiple WA construction projects on mining sites, underwent cyclone repairs for FMG Rail, FMG kings tailings storage facility Solomon mine, Cyclone repairs at Rio Tinto Dampier salt mine.
